Big Kid Reaction: It's a simple presentation of the ideas of family and adoption. It never gets tiring because it reminds us all over again how special our little one is and how wonderful it is to watch her grow. And the illustrations have humor built in.
Pros: The book is written "toddler speak," and moves quickly. It's a great way to introduce adoption because it focuses on the things important to kids
Cons: None really. If you're looking for a story that exactly matches your adoptive situation (or if you adopted an older child), this may not be the book you're looking for.
Borrow or Buy: This is a nice book…and probably a keeper that will stay with the child forever.
