Little Kid Reaction: My son especially enjoyed the trip to Quantia for the Rainbow Festival. Its colorful characters represented different types of life forms and their inter-connectivity to each other.
Big Kid Reaction: The book leaves you with the feeling that you CAN make a difference in the world if you’re aware of what’s going on around you. I highly recommend this story as an inspiring and educational tale that doesn’t feel like a lecture.
Pros: The story is an environmental fantasy. The point of the story is the importance and condition of earth’s ecosystems and the need for citizens to actively support efforts to sustain them for future generations. It is a wonderful environmental and ecology novel suitable for kids of all ages.
Cons: None.
Borrow or Buy: Buy. This is a great book for all ages, whether you're reading it aloud or reading independently.
Educational Themes: The adventures essentially cover all of the topics one would expect to study in Ecology & Habitat 101. This approach is more enjoyable because you’re doing it in a bubble-craft.
