Little Kid Reaction: Our kindergartner liked the story and loved the CD even more.

Big Kid Reaction: The story is a familiar one. Still, it is presented nicely with simple reading and illustrations that complement the theme exactly. The CD is chock full of information related to spiders. We learned a lot, too.

Pros: The story has life lessons AND educational value. Parents will find the CD a good resource for educating kids about spiders. It's a nice counter-effort to the "yuck" and "eeks" that you normally here.

Cons: None.

Borrow or Buy: Buy! This is a book with long-term value for pre-readers through mid-grade elementary school students. We can envision any number of science projects heading our way.
