Little Kid Reaction: Our daughter has listened to these stories for days on end, multiple times a day. She got hooked on this series three years ago and still listens to the first set of folktales.
Big Kid Reaction: These are fun stories to listen to. The storytellers use a lot of voices and the music complements what's going on; it doesn't overpower it. I love the diversity of the collection, too. These are portable, but more importantly, they broaden our horizons.
Pros: Families will enjoy these stories with life lessons that can be taken anywhere.

Borrow or Buy: Buy! This is a CD of stories you'll listen to for years.
Educational Themes: These are stories that have morals/life lessons. Just like reading a short story, you can pause the CD and talk about the characters and what happened. There is information about each story on the "box" and you can expand your knowledge or look for other, similar stories.
