Summary: As you sing your way through the alphabet, there's an adjective to describe all the things you like about someone. At its heart, this is an alphabet book. It is a picture-book version of a classic song.

Age of Child: Read with child 2˝ years old.
Little Kid Reaction: S/He picked this out at the library, and would pick it up from the shelf, but we never made it more than halfway through the alphabet.
Big Kid Reaction: The illustrations are cute, but there isn't much else to the book. There are more engaging, fun A-B-C books out there. This seemed to be a great book because of its lyrical quality (and s/he loves music), but it didn't fly.
Pros: Having the words in front of you helps you sing the song and makes learning the alphabet fun.
Cons: If you only know part of the song's tune, you'll get stuck between some of the verses where the cadence changes.
Borrow or Buy: Borrow it, if you know the tune to the whole song. It's a fun read once or twice.
Educational Themes: Aside from practicing your ABCs, it's a chance to broaden your child's horizon with positive words. They can expand their ability to describe why they like someone.
