Little Kid Reaction: This was a cute story, but too young for my age. I would recommend it for someone who is five or six. This is a book that tells you you can help people every day.
Big Kid Reaction: This is a nice choice when you want a book that helps kids understand that being a Christian is part of who you are and the choices you make. Although the narrator is a boy, girls will also appreciate the story and its lessons.
Pros: Families can enjoy this thoughtful book about recognizing living Christ's message every day.
Cons: There are a couple spots where the rhyme sounds forced or the wording is awkward.
Borrow or Buy: Borrow or buy. This would be a nice bedtime book for young children and a nice Christian-themed easy reader for first and second graders.
Educational Themes: The title itself invites you to ask your child a question about what s/he would do if Jesus came to visit. The story leads the reader in a way that shows how they can live Jesus' message, and you can brainstorm some ideas that fit your life.
