Little Kid Reaction: My daughter enjoyed the photos and learning the interesting facts about each gorilla. She enjoyed the different faces of the gorillas. She thought some of the faces might look like the faces she has seen on real people in the store.
Big Kid Reaction: I also enjoyed reading this and looking at the pictures. I learned information I had never heard before. I was surprised she liked it but the writing was short and concise and the relevant photos helped.
Pros: Find lots of great information for anyone wanting to know about gorillas in this easy-to-read nonfiction picture book.

Borrow or Buy: Borrow, at least. This is an excellent book ... and young animal lovers may want to explore it often. Your public or local library should definitely have this book.
Educational Themes: This is a book about gorillas and how and where they live. You can go beyond the book to expand topics about similarities and differences, contrasting and comparing facts and habitat information, etc.
