Summary: On Christmas Eve at Grandma's house, cousins Adam and Sarah discover a package: pajamas from "TT." Turns out that TT is Twinkle Toes, a fairy who has a farm at the North Pole. Twinkle Toes plants fibers and then, when the planting is done, she prepares for that time when the Christmas pajama crops grow. The pajamas are destined for the kids who can't sleep on Christmas Eve to help them sleep. This is a seasonal picture book celebrating a family tradition.

Young Reader Reaction: "This is like the elf that comes to our house." Although she loved the pajama crop and the idea of farming at the North Pole, the rest of the story didn't interest her.

Adult Reader Reaction: This is a book to buy and read when your first child is very young. It is really for families who want to have special traditions more than just seasonal reading.

Pros: Twinkle Toes is a fun, engaging story ... and her magic pajamas could have the desired effect parents want on Christmas Eve.

Cons: The book isn't one you read without creating the pajama-gifting as part of your own family tradition.

Borrow or Buy: Borrow. You'll want to read this before you share it with your kids to see if it is a good fit for your own traditions and goals for Christmas.

Educational Themes: This is a story for families to share. It could be part of a family tradition and expanded to include notes from the kids to Twinkle Toes
