Summary: A blue truck is kind to the animals he passes on the roads by his home. Each animal is friendly back. One day a big truck comes by and pushes them all out of the way. Further down the road that big truck needs the help of the blue truck and animals. Unlike the big truck they all slow down and take the time to help. Using team work they help the big truck get out of trouble. Children learn about kindness by following a day-in-the-life of a truck.

Young Reader Reaction: This was a book my daughter picked from the library, and we read it several times. She liked the pictures, the animals, and their sounds. She loved! the blue truck and talked about how it was friendly to everyone.

Adult Reader Reaction: I liked the book and was surprised when my daughter liked it, too. The story is about kindness and shows kids that kindness will get you far. The author made the truck a loving character.

Pros: Adorable pictures get kids engaged in this story about kindness and teamwork.
