Adult Reader Reaction: This is an incredibly well-researched, well-written story. As an adult I knew most of the facts, but hearing it from the Lincoln boys' perspective added a lot to the history.

Pros: Beautiful illustrations, exceptional writing, short chapters and history told by their "peers" will engage kids in understanding the Lincoln family and their public and private lives.

Cons: None.

Borrow or Buy: Borrow, at least. This is a slim volume that would make a wonderful gift and/or an addition to a collector's shelf.
