Young Reader Reaction: This book is not a simple, tedious grammar workbook. It is an entertaining notebook. Students, especially in high school, usually give up in frustration trying to make sense of tedious grammar. This book is entertaining, with funny pictures. It explains complex concepts and makes them easy to understand. One of the things that highlights the profound quality is that this book is written not for native English speakers, but for those who are learning English as a second language. The book is so neatly organized, that it is pretty much impossible to become confused.

Adult Reader Reaction: This is a Grammar Handbook. It is an excellent reference work: very easy to use and very straightforward in the layout. It is easy to find what you need and just as easy to apply it.

Pros: The topic is not high on most reader’s agenda but the layout of the chapters, the simplicity of the explanations makes this a useful and informative reference work.

Cons: None.

Borrow or Buy: Buy for students from junior high school through college. It is an effective and easy to use reference work. Though primarily aimed at students and educational settings, this book would be a very useful addition to the dictionary, thesaurus, and telephone books that adorn most office desktops.
