Young Reader Reaction: Preschooler understands that Joseph was Jesus' Daddy and loves to talk about their family life as compared to ours.

Adult Reader Reaction: This was the only book available at the book store this parent visited. It is a beautiful rendition, with each page being a different story (easy to break into different reading sessions).

Pros: This book is an effective tool for preparing preschooler for the Feast of St. Joseph (patron Saint of Sicily) and for teaching about the early years of Jesus.

Cons: This book is very dry, but taken in small bites, is a nice book.

Borrow or Buy: Buy, because these books are not generally available at a public library and because it only cost $1.25, yet it will be valued for years to come.
