Adult Reader Reaction: Useful in advance of the first day of school both as a reminder for those returning and to assuage any fears among rookies.

Pros: Those who have been through their first few weeks of school, or at least preschool, can identify with the story. The artwork is simple and the story is accessible for the age group.

Borrow or Buy: Buy! It will be great to have in advance of your child going to school for the first time.
